Licensing the Product
There are two types of licensing policies for TL1 API:
Trial User Policy
Registered User Policy
AdventNet provides an Evaluation (or trial) period of 45 days for TL1 API 4 which can be extended if required. AdventNet will provide a registered user file after you purchase the product. To get the trial user file, you must fill up a form from our Web site www.adventnet.com. To get the registered user file, you must contact our sales team at sales@adventnet.com.
After installing the product, you must provide the required licensing information for starting the product. The License Agreement will be invoked when you start the TL1 Launcher or any of the applications for the first time. If you agree and proceed to the next screen, Licensee Details dialog will be displayed.

You must browse and provide the license file in the above screen and click the Next button. The next screen will show you the list of users who can use the license.

Select the user name and proceed. The licensing procedure completes here and the product will get started.
If you have the registered user license key of TL1 API, you can enter the key by selecting the If you have a license key, select this option and proceed from the first screen. Provide the information and proceed to complete the licensing procedure and start the product.

To Upgrade your license policy from Trial user to Registered user
Start the TL1 Launcher by running the TL1Tools.bat/sh file present under the <TL1_Home> directory.
From the help menu, select the Register menu Item. The License Manager screen will popup.
Use the above procedure to upgrade.
